locked pop3-account

Does anyone have a solution to the problem that ipop3d gives the response

-ERR Unable to open user's INBOX
Connection closed by foreign host.

It all happened when Outlook checkek the mail for that account at the same time as I checked it with "mail" at the terminal...

I have tried to restart the computer and the ipop3d as well as postfix. Nothing seems to help. Can I delete some obscure var/tmp-file or something?

Thanks in advance
