I've been puttering about with different distros and decided to try out Linux Mint-got it downloaded and installed last night, everything was peachy with updates...then today I cant seem to connect, via the updater or even when trying to access the Linux Mint website with my browser.
Just wanted to see if any other Mint users have encountered the same problem. The site seems to be down, the software portal is also unconnectable as well as the forums and Wiki.
Never mind. I got on the site eventhough the updater isn't working. BTW, I think Mint is a pretty good distro. Not too much of a learning curve with it considering I'm used to Ubuntu and definately would be the butt of those "cant configure Debian" jokes.
Yeah, I was able to get to the site and about ten minutes later the updater started working. But I wasn't able to get there throughout most of the day. I even got to the point of trying a blunt instrument approach and reinstalled, but still it was having problems. Then out of nowhere, everything is cool beans again.
