Angry Linuxconf ... RH7.1

What's happend with linuxconf under KDE in RH7.1 ?
If I'm trying to run this I got something like: "Segmentation fault (core dump) ", if I'm not wrong .

From where that problem ?
Regards.

I've actually had similar problems with apacheconf in RedHat's control panel (under KDE--I can't even FIND a control panel under GNOME).

Try opening a bash window and typing "linuxconf". If I run Apacheconf from the Application Launcher or from bash, it works fine, but if I try it from the Control Panel, it says it's not installed.

Perhaps you should update linuxconf

The version of linuxconf included on the RH 7.1 disk is no where near the latest version. Try gettting the latest version from the linuxconf homepage at:

http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/linuxconf/

Lot's of cool things have been added to the interface, definitely worth upgrading.

ok let me clarify myself, in redhat 7.1, even if you select every package, and install everything, it doesn't install linuxconf, they left it out cause its not recommended by use from the open source community. so you have to get the package from your second disk and install manually or download the latest version from gonzojohns link above.
