Linux Web Development Distro??

I was wondering if anyone has seen/used/heard about a distro specifically for web development. Something preloaded with all of the tools you would need to create webpages. I know all you really need is a text editor but a specialty distro for web development would be pretty cool! So if anyone has used one or seen it. I would be very grateful if you could share the name with me so I could give it a try! Thanks!

I don't know of any specialized web development distro. Are you looking to do development of static HTML/CSS sites, or do you want to do web programming such as with PHP, Ruby on Rails, Java etc.?

I'd say to just use the distro your comfortable with. Your profile indicates that you use Ubuntu, which would be totally fine for work like this.

Any distro will do. As you're already using Ubuntu, you can stick with it. All (most) the necessary packages are in Ubuntu repositories.

I'm looking to manage my own webpage something like Ubuntu could work. I think the idea of a web development distro would be cool. Preinstalled software for
HTML & CSS, PHP, Ajax, SQL, JavaScript, etc..

It's so easy to turn a vanilla Ubuntu installation into a development machine that I've done it to half a dozen virtual instances.
"sudo apt-get install lamp-server^" (the caret isn't a typo) sets up Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
I quite like Aptana Studio 3, which is easily installed from their website and supports most mainstream scripting languages. So you can have what you want in less than ten minutes more than a standard install.
