Linux Video Tutorials-Suggestions please!

Hi,

I have some screen recording software and am looking to make some video tutorials for beginners(newbies).

Any suggestions on what I should do first? ie.Command line examples?

Also, I am looking to try and show the real power and advantages of Linux.

Any cool Linux scripts or programs or anything with Linux that made you say wow!!

I am a bit short of ideas, any suggestions welcome.

Thankyou

Great idea!

I tend to find that most beginners are afraid of the command line, so I'd "wow" them first with things they can easily do with their new desktop (i.e.: installing software, etc.) and then move into the command line.

Thumbs up

Are you still there fleeced? Gosh I hope so!
showmedo.com to start with obviously (this may be a gnu thing tho' right?) and If I was you I'd just introduce 'one' person to 'one' distro <give a windows user a live/hard linux cd + an introduction cd> and for this I'd suggest elive or zenwalk as they are the only live-cds that come with the kernel+headers+gcc... If you were adventurous you could just add those particulars to the best! DamnSmallLinux! and then you'd be showing then fluxbox <but add the shortcut keys rghtCtrl+Shift+';/., to blow them away?>

I just wolvix and "linux filesystem hierarchy" by linuxreality and "Shellbasics5.flv" from showmedo, but I'm sure you'd do one better?!
