I just want to find out whether are there any major issues if I am upgrading from RHL 7.3 to Fedora or Enterprise Linux ?

I was bit confused as to where to post this message.. as in Linux - software or Linux - hardware !!

Hardware would have to do with actual components, this is just bits floating around (scary little bits aren't they..... they segfault eachoter...) Anyway

I've done that before, to RH 9 not Fedora, and it went flawlessly. Fedor is basically RH 10, so it should be the same.

I was in the same case as you, but for a Dell server:
Running RH7.3 and needed RH Enterprise.
So I did the upgrade with a spare server, and everything was fine:
- Partitions were untouched. (even when they are mounted on hardware RAID).
- Users on the 7.3 system were conveniently mantained with their profile.

I must say I made the upgrade to Enterprise 3.0, not AS2.1

And I must also say that it was NOT RedHat enterprise but White Box Linux:
