Linux riddle: How do you install linux on a hp compaq t5000 internet terminal???
I have a hp compaq t5000 internet terminal which is currently running Windows CE.NET: Version 4.20. I'm quite new to this but I believe it is running somthing called a ATA Flash instead of a harddisk drive, but I'm not sure. I've tried booting damn small linux (from a pendrive) but it can't boot into the gui its stuck on run level 3 (i think). These are its specs, and I'm just quoting the control panel>system from windows here:
SYSTEM
UUID: C82F8BCF-23E4-3E8B-D611-D35CA0B0A326
SERIAL NUMBER: CNV42803Z5
BIOS VERSION: 786W2 v1.10
RELEASE DATE: 03/08/2004
IMAGE VERSION: 4.21.053.1.8
PROCESSOR TYPE: TM5800
CPU SPEED: 733 MHz
MEMORY SLOT1: 128 M
FLASH MEMORY: 32 M
Is there any version of Linux that can support that kind of Linux achitechure?
There's also one more problem it can only boot off a USB pendrive.
I know it can be done, but I just can't work this one out.
