linux question??

hi, i'm new to linux and i just installed redhat 9 as a dual boot with win XP. During the probing, rh was unable to probe my monitor ( nec multisync 97f) and my video card Asus geforce fx 5200.

Therefore, i performed a text mode installation cuz the screen would go blank right at the beginning of the installation.

My question :

i know i need to update my driver(video), but how can i reach the website (nvidia for instance) in text mode cuz i need to download the driver before being able to use the GUI?

is it possible to surf the web in text mode and download stuff?

thanks for any reply....

yes, if you installed lynx you can use it to browse the web. Also, if you know the exact url to the file you can use "wget addressgoeshere" to download the file.
