Linux Proxy Server

Hello Friends,

I am using windows 2000 Professional and Redhat Linux 9.0

In windows 2000 Professional i am using AnalogX Proxy server.

Its function is Proxy to Proxy. In Redhat Linux what type of proxies are

available. I am using squid proxy. But it is not to proxy to proxy. It is public

ip to proxy.

Example :

my doute is

System 1 : (Windows 2000 Professional):

Eht0: Public IP (ISP Provider IP)

Eth1: IP : 172.100.100.1 / 255.255.0.0

I am using Analog Proxy (Windows)(172.100.100.1:6588)

System 2 : (Redhat Linux 9.0)

Eth0: 172.100.100.50/255.255.0.0
Gateway : 172.100.100.1
DNS : 172.100.100.1

But the client was not browsing.

I am using Squid proxy. (172.100.100.50:8080)

Other proxy support in proxy to proxy or Squid support proxy to proxy.

If anybody to know please mail ajkannan83@rediffmail.com

Please help me.

Thank you

A.Kannan

please don't ask for private emails, and you're question doesn't actually seem to have much of a question in it... plesae describe in more detail what you're expecting to happen and what is actually happening. If you're using this window machine as a gateway and proxy then why use squid at all?
