Linux on your mobile phone!

I know the concept isn't new... but now the giants are getting together. Even IBM wants a part.

And that robert-ab guy said they weren't organised ;)

less said about "that robert-ab guy" the better....

as for IBM, they've been one of (if the the) biggest commerical developer / promoter of linux for few years now.

Shame about having win CE on mobile phones... if linux was being used then no one would know at all... just be working away in the background... it's pretty scary i think to see that bloody flag and butterfly on a mobile phone now...

ack, i just commented on Microsoft onthis site... and my new years resolution was going so well till now.

ha ha ha....

hopefully, this collaboration will slowly help linux rise in the mobile / PDA market. It bloody well deserves to anyway.

the new sharp zarus PDA's are lush - full colour linux on a PDA :) they're based on Qt, so standard KDE programs should run on them without much porting as well.
