How to tune kernel in RHEL 6 for oracle 10 G
|
install Oracles rebuild of rhel
they explicitly built "Oracle linux" to run their database also 12 g is the current |
Out of the first page of hits (dogpile) for the search terms "oracle rhel tuning", a couple are books (which look useful....but they are books), one concentrates on the use of NFS, which may or may not be relevant, and the rest look like the sort of thing that you want.
The one that mentions "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Red Hat Enterprise Linux Oracle Tuning Guide 85. Chapter 26" looks pretty much like a direct hit. As usual, the internet knows more about this than I do. Oh, dear. |
