Linux gets stuck during boot time
I tried to install a modem. I installed a special driver so that my 'winmodem' will work as a 'linmodem'. I did all that and then I checked the option to enable the modem at start-up. However, when the startup process comes to the point where it has to enable the modem, it gets stuck and this way It never finishes the boot. I tried to phisicly remove the modem. Then through the hardware wizard I removed configuration for the modem, but it still does the same thing.
Can I fix that somehow without re-installing the whole thing?
Thanks for your help and time
