I am looking for free linux training cds for downloads,do u know where from?

You probably mean LiveCDs. If so, check out www.linuxiso.org, LinuxQuestions' iso page at http://iso.linuxquestions.org/ or www.distrowatch.com.
If you want a specific distro, check its home page and see if there are mirrors close to you.

I doubt there are any free training cds - good training courses are normally written by either the software owner (Cisco/Novell/IBM) or by a particular company. Either way, there are a number of overheads - pressing the cds, writing the courses, paying their staff, paying their utility bills, etc etc. If you want to learn Linux, load up a distro and download RUTE and use The Linux Documentation Project.

With training, you get what you pay for.

Hello,

i have heard about Pentamedia CDs which are CBT for training in basic linux.

Please search in google for pentamedia.
