anyone have any idea when intervideo might come out with the linux dvd they are now supplying only to computer manufaturers at the moment?

Why when mplayer plays everything under the sun with hardware scaling and the likes?

thanks, will have to install mplayer. got word from intendo video that they have no plans releasing their version to the general public.

dvd players

I know two other programs that play dvds on linux. They are Xine and Ogle. You can get all the rpms for these here: http://enigma.freshrpms.net

great , will check them out. if i can get a dvd player going, i will problably never give microsft any of my money again

heh, guess i should have mentioned them, they're ok really. Ogle is good for menus and things, but it's got certain unimplemented featuers like not being able to eficiently fast forsward or rewind etc...

i'm just VERY biased toward mplayer
