Linux Continuing education

I have been a Linux admin for over 10 years now. I occasionally come to this forum to see what kind of technologies people are using and issues they are experiencing. Over the years I've learned quite a bit by coming to this forum. Recently from this forum I learned about sshfs, moosefs which I never heard of before. I would like to know what sites, blogs, magazines, seminars etc you people use for keeping up with the new/changes in this field.

You might like to take a look at Sourceforge & Freshmeat, they are two old sites I used to browse occasionally.

(There are many more, that I just can't recall at the moment; I stick to my own distro sites nowadays)

I've been using linux for 3 or 4 years now (as user) but still feel like a giant noob O_o

I read a 1000 page book on linux before using it. It was almost completely of no relevance. :D

Look at: Linux Kernel Newbies - Linux Kernel Newbies
for keeping up with kernel relative information.

Linux Books & Online Magazines contains several useful links;
Quote:

On-line Magazines:
Linux Gazette <- Free International Online
Linux Journal <- Since 1994: The Original Monthly
Linux Magazine <- Linux & Open Source
Linux Pro <- Current GNU/Linux + Great
Linux Format <- UK's Linux magazine
LinuxPlanet <- Good
linuxtoday
LXer <- 'Linux News - The world is talking about GNU/Linux and Free/Open Source Software'
Linux World <- 'Open Source Solutions for the Enterprise'
To many free books to list, so look at the above referenced section for the list.

One thing a lot of new users fail to look at is the 'changelog(s)' for their favorite distro/application.

The above links and others can be found at 'Slackware-Links'. More than just SlackwareŽ links!

You will find loads of midnight oil reading at 'Slackware-Links'.
