i have dvb card twinhan 1025 and accordinng to linuxtv.org they recommended to use cold boot because the card make the system hung up

OK--use cold boot for what?? Are they telling you to shut down and restart to make the card work correctly?

Again---we need more details to be able to help you.

1. save all work and shut down.
2.unplug system and hold down power button
3.plug system back in and turn it on
next time just turn off the system in k menu or other menu and press power button to turn back on.

hi
thnx 4 help i solve the problem
it was in ds.c file in kernel need to change value from 1000 to 200 and that is all
evry things no is fine after i recompiling the kernel
