I have been trying for days now to get a working boot floppy for my RH 8.0.
I have an old pentium that I want to use as a firewall, but of course it can't boot from cdrom. I have made numerous boot images using Red Hat's utility but it still doesn't boot. I even went onto an old win98 computer and created a Linux boot with one of those utilities. Any one who can give me some usable advice on a similar situation?
I kind of solved my problem.... I made a window98 boot disk with cdrom support and started the machine with that. When I got to D: I inserted my RH install /dosutils/autorun... It seems to be working now...
