linux books
 
im a recently new to the linux world and i was wondering if anyone has titles to good books for help on learning to use linux and basic programing and commands?
im am running knoppix 3.2 which my neighbor who is a hardcore linux user gave me to mess around with. any recomendations will be greatly appreciated.:D

O'reilly is truly very nice. And it also has a section with free books, called Open Books Project:
http://www.oreilly.com/openbook/

You should search the web for more free books, there's lot's of it out there.
