Linux and Wine, HOW TO LOAD A NEW GAME


I have wine installed on my Ubuntu 11.04 laptop. Or I think it is. I am trying to confirm that it is. How do I do that? HELP.

Help Number 2.

I am trying to load World of Warcraft onto my wine if it is indeed installed. HOW do I do that? HELP HELP.


I am a linux Newbie and am trying to learn a lot about linux and have fun too. Thanx for all of your help.

There's a project called PlayOnLinux that might be helpful with this. Also see if WineTricks has any installation help as well into what all is needed for Wine to run WOW.

Best way to test for wine installation... either check the package manager, or try running a wine related command like winecfg.
