I am new to Linux platform and found that the server rebooted automatically and now throwing "Kernel panic" error.
Please suggest how should i resolve this.
Error Description
setuproot: moving /dev failed : no such file or directory
no fstabs.sys , mounting internal defaults
setuproot : error mounting /proc: No such file or directory
setuproot : error mounting /sys: No such file or directory
Switching to new root and running init.
unmounting old /dev
unmounting old /proc
unmounting old /sys
ERROR opening /dev/console : No such file or directory
Trying to use fd 0 insted
WARNING:can't access(null)
exec of init ((null)) failed!!!:Bad address
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
It's telling you that it cannot see some partitions. It looks as if /dev, /proc/, and /sys are either all on the same partition or each on separate partitions that cannot be mounted.
If it does not or if you have further questions, please post again, being sure to include the distro/version and the server's specs. This article may help you: https://www.linuxquestions.org/linux...Ask_a_Question
You might want to ask the mods to change your user name to something that doesn't include your email address. Including it makes you a target for spammers.
