#lilo -u to remove lilo.....what for grub ???

Hello all,
as its clear from the subject of this thread, in order to remove the lilo bootloader from MBR we can run
#lilo -u
but what about grub.

i know all that /fdisk mbr and fixmbr stuff. I'm just asking that is there any way of removing grub from linux console itself.

regards
