Lilo: changes to /etc/lilo.conf doesn't apply

Hello!

Normally, I'm using grub. There I know, where I can config it.
But now, in Slackware, there is Lilo!
I already found out that the "/boot/grub/menu.lst" is now "/etc/lilo.conf".
But when I change something, the changes doesn't apply.
Can someone help me (or say me how to install grub)?

After the changes you need to run
Code:
# lilo
