LILO bootloader will not load

I recently got a new computer, and installed MandrakeLinux 8.1 (yes, I know, ancient) on it. I installed the LILO graphical bootloader to the master drive, dev/hda, and installed Linux on my 4 gigabyte slave drive, dev/hba. Now, whenever I boot my computer up, it comes up with never ending 07, over and over and over? Suggestions?

Quote:
Invalid initialization: The BIOS failed to properly initialize the disk controller. You should control the BIOS setup parameters. A warm boot might help too. (Boot a rescue disc and rerun LILO.)
You can try that, but it may be that you're running an old LILO that doesn't work so well with your new hardware. Either way, with new hardware, it would be best to run a more recent distribution, if only to make your life a little easier.

Thanks, I went into my bios setup and changed the 2nd primary drive to auto, and it worked!
