libqt 3 compat?

i am using mdk 9.2 with kde 3.
i can compile software sources and it works great.
but whenever i try to compile old applications (kde 1), some errors show up...
from what i could find on internet, i need libqt3 compat in order to compile old stuff BUT i cant find this anywhere. only debian seems to offer that package?!
