libc.so.6 missing


Hi,

I moved /lib/libc.so.6 to a diff file name.
Now I am unable to restore it back ofcourse because of no cp command.

Please help

reinstall glibc, and probably fileutils
What's your distro?

glibc is very important, if that file is missing, everything linked against it will fail and u will need to re-load

wait
download superrescue v1 from http://www.kernel.org/pub/dist/superrescue/v1/ and copy the files off that
