Cool /lib, /sbin directories

Hi all,

why is it said that /lib, /sbin directories should not be mounted on a separate partition ?

becuase they contain kernel modules and low level binaries respectively, without those directories you're more likely to end up with an usable system, in the case of their seperate filesystem choking. those directories are generally pretty tiddly anyway, there's no need to move them off of / in the first place.
