Question ldap authentication (active directory) and using UPN as username

Hello,

I want to use our AD and join some linux boxes to it for use with winbind and what not. I am all over that and got that going. However, I would like to authenticate using the UPN which is in the form of username@domain.com rather than the samaccountname. How can I achieve this?

Thanks!

Try with userprincipalname instead of samaccount name. This should help.
