Launcher for all users desktops

I have created a simple launcher to run minicom in the terminal window. I would like to add this to every user's desktop without having to manually add it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The safest way to ensure this would be to add it to the user skeleton before any users are created. This way any new users will automatically get the file. But this is only good for new users.
If you want to add it to existing users the easiest way would be to write a small script that copies the launcher into /home/<USER_NAME>/Desktop/ for all the users that need it. Or if there is only a few users then just do this manually.
