I want to be with latest version of firefox and I am using latest version of ff. But I forget how do I do that. I remember that there was some command for configuring this,I found it in www.ubuntuforum. and then I've to isntall a package for firefox. I think the package was firefox-mozilla-build,I am not sure.
But I forget the entire process. Can anyone tell how to do this?

Might be the easiest way for you. Usually when I wish to run something new like a browser. I download the tar.bz2 file and extract it and make a launcher. UbuntuZilla was tailor made for new users.

Edit: tounch touch the download buttons. They are for Windows and are advertisements. Just copy and paste the commands they show you in terminal and you will be OK. Just follow the steps.

Try to download FF from Mozilla website:
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/pl/firefox/
Just extract the file using the tar -xvjf command and run the executable. Then you can change menu entries in GNOME/KDE.
Eventually, add this line to your /etc/apt/sources.list if you use Ubuntu:
Code:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/mozillateam/firefox-stable/ubuntu karmic main
