Konqueror display issues

I'm using SimplyMEPIS 3.3 and Apache2 with DocumentRoot as /home/randrake/public_html. I also have custom hosts file with websites_here entry's for blocking ads when surfing the net.
My question is who would know why when I go to I see my homepage where the ads should be? It even shows the pictures, and links and they all work? This only happens on the apache server box on the sourceforge site and not on my XP box?

Since you are running the a web server on your local host, using the localhost address in the host files like that will redirect the traffic to your own web server. When you are using your XP box, refers to the local XP box and not the webserver.
