KLauncher could not be reached via D-Bus, What do I do??

every time I log into my kubuntu system I get this error.
"KLauncher could not be reached via D-Bus, error when calling start_service_by_desktop_path:empty"

I click the ok button and everything seems to work ok on my machine at work. At home I get the same error and when I click ok Kde4 shuts down and restarts.

I don't know enough yet to understand the message. I need help??

It's reported bug.Here's a fix that's connected with Kate;
-open up System Settings, hit the Advanced tab and select File Associations. Find "plain" under "text", highlight Kate and hit edit. In the Application tab, change the %U to %u in the command field, and it should work .
If error comes back,see for what app you might need to change settings too.

Thanks! I made the changes. When I get a chance I'll log out and back in and let you know what happened.
