Kickstart floppy wont work

Im trying to get a kickstart floppy made for my school's linux class, i use the kickstart program and its really helpful, but when i try to boot from the disk it says its not a system disk or that its blank.
Can anyone help?

you are a dumbass you have to use a CD to boot and then put it in the command prompt DUMBass
