Kicker won't load in KDE
I recently changed the clock settings in KDE to "FuzzyClock." Right after I did this, the kicker crashed & now it never loads up on startup.
How can I restore my settings back to the original? Can somebody tell me the file name to edit, as well as the default values for the file? Thanks! |

Go into KDE control center, then go to panel, and make sure it's activated there... if you still have the whole bar thing(where all your apps minimize etc) right click on that and see if you can add it from there... #Garry |
and if nothing works, logon as root and delete everything in /home/user/.kde
WARNING: you will lose all of your customization to kde... P.S: GT I.N.C, how'd she go to the control panel without kicker? |
Isn't the kicker just the menu thing where all the apps are...
Sorry haven't used KDE in a while, but that's what i'm pretty sure it is... #Garry |
kicker is another name of the panel...
lol, at least that's what I thought |
Isn't there a file in /usr/lib/kde3 that I can just configure?

thanks pagal
thanks pagal, I did what u told me by deleting my /.kde directory. All customization was lost, but it's still better than having no kicker available :)
