You really should have created a thread of your own
for this :)

Here's just a few apps ...

Cheers,

Personally I've never had much call to mess with keyboard settings, but i reckon I'd go for the gkrellm plugin - it's a gadget I've started using with fluxbox a lot.

No backslash must be seriously annoying. I had a very frustrating episode recently trying to code remotely via ssh from an eMac, only to discover Apple have obviously decided nobody's ever going to want to code on one and left the '#' key off the keyboard!

grrrr.

On macs the # character is usually generated by pressing Alt+3 or Shift+3, even if the character itself isn't printed on the key. Can't remember which one.

As Tinkster pointed out, splitting this from the other thread. Please do not hijack others threads when your question does not relate to their own questions.

Thank you Tinkster for your tips, I'm sorry for hijacking... I'm just a beginner with fluxbox, and I was little confused, so I was happy to see, that somebody uses LaTeX and is working with different keyboards...
