I have two linux Test machine, runnign Cent OS 3.6, Both machine user KEyboard, Mouse and Monitor through single sharer i.e. both CPU use same Stuff, I just need to pressa button to switch my physical machine.
Every thing is working fine for my 2 months with same hardware, I have these machine for testing and I Reinstall them randomly.
but yesterday I reneed to replug my sharer thanks to little shifting of my desk. Since than I am facing problem with my keyboard.
I am able to enter my Login information on screen but I cannot use keyboard once I am on KDE desktop on either machine. Can anyone please help me find out the reason, my both machine are dump until I format them, and I cannot do taht as my Backup is not ready with me...
Help me making them running...
Thanks though I can SSH one of them , don't know why other one is not giving my login it was doing that till yesterday....
Yes I am using KVM switch and I wasn't facing problem until I re connect that to my system, actually I have to switch my Table and got new one. Since that I am facing this problem...
I am notsure why..
But I can use Keyboard to enter Login information but when I get my desktop or even Command line, than I am unable to use keyboard...
If I can enter login info , hardware engineer says that mean hardware is working with system..
I eventually format as I take my backup through SSH. Seems the keyboard wire change to me and thats cause the problem. One more interesting thing is that before I format my PC. One of System give access to keyboard when I just kept it for while without doing any thing....

actually I got frustrate with keyboard not working, since I can ssh to my Linux box, I kept the linux machine running and Use another machine to SSH and work on it. But After 4-5 hours I try to recheck the keyboard and it was working fine, though it doesn't work immediately after Boot up.
Seems some hardware failure to me..
I didn't like these KVM switcher they are Good looking but worth a Dustbin only
