Kernel version for RHEL5.5


Hi All,

I hope everyone aware that redhat released rhel5.5 recently.

Can anyone indentify what would be the kerbel version for this version?

Hi,

On my RHEL 5.5 it has the following:

Linux 2.6.18-194.el5 #1 SMP Tue Mar 16 21:52:43 EDT 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

You can find kernel version in the official technical notes (see appendix A.3. Updated Packages). Indeed it is the one reported by IW2B above.
