kernel setup for framebuffer

hi,
i want to know any parameters need for framebuffer in kernel 2.6?

what i want to do is making 1024x768 console. previously, i can set correct values in make menuconfig in kernel 2.4. however, i cant see these settings in 2.6's config. menu.

so, anyone can tell the exactly values needed for compiling kernel with framebuffer.

thanks,

jim

Code:
Device Drivers ---> Graphics support --> Support for framebuffer devices[*]
Device Drivers ---> Graphics support --> Vesa VGA graphics support[*]
Device Drivers ---> Graphics support --> Console display driver support --> video mode selection support[*]
Device Drivers ---> Graphics support --> Console display driver support --> framebuffer Console support[*]
[*] means enable (y).
That's what I enable to get the framebuffer support working in 2.6.9.
To boot in 1024x768x16 with LILO you should have the following in /etc/lilo.conf:

Code:
vga=791
