kernel problems?

ok, i have a bunch of problems, and i think it's the kernel. I have a few system messages, i'm talking about that mail i get when i log in as root in the cmd prompt. If a pro would like to look at it and tell me what it means, i'd appreciate it very much(email: politisj@tampabay.rr.com). The problems i have is, Tx errors with my wireless card. it seems my card will work at home, but not at school, pretty wierd. other problems include, sometimes when trying to logout, or shutdown, or just hitting ctrl+F1, my computer just restarts. It doesn't bother going through that normal logging off sequence, where on the right hand side will say [ok] or [failed]...it just shutsdown. and the main purpose of this thread is, i can't send mail from my laptop. When i log into root, it says i have new mail, and when i check it, it gives me a ton of msgs saying that all those emails i tried sending where never sent do to errors. now, i'm wondering, how can i just reinstall the kernel, or upgrade, or do something to fix my problems quickly and easily. thnx

It is inconsiderit(sp?) to ask to have your answer e-mailed to you fore it does not add to the database.

sorry joey, i never asked to have my answer emailed to me. i posted my email for those who are pros can email me so i can email them the messages i'm talking about. I'd be more than happy to post them, but they are a total of over 2k lines. i think it would be inconsiderd(ok, can someone also spell this out for us ) for me to post them up here. just give me the word and i'll post it. I also believe this to be a problem that not many have, cause i think it started from a bad laptop, and now that it's mostly fixed, linux is giving trouble.

btw, i live in npr, fl, and go to usf.

oooops. new problem. i repartitioned my harddrive last night using partition magic 8. i gave my linux 3 more gigs. now, while loading up, linux just stops and says "Kernel panic: no INIT found, pass init= option to kernel", or something to that degree. is there a way i can use my rh8 cds and just copy the kernel, or reinstall it over the old one? i just don't want to lose all my information in my linux. i have way too many important emails and programs that i need for school and work. thnx
