This is the dmesg:
EXT3-fs error (device sdb1): ext3_check_descriptors: Inode bitmap for group 384 not in group (block 2147483647)! EXT3-fs: group descriptors corrupted !
I am still in my transition period between Windows and Linux and I have to sometimes use Win XP ...!!! Will apprecaite any help or suggestions .. I am running Debian testing and Win XP Thanx Babe963  |
Do you always shut the computer down properly? Or do you ever just push the power button?

From win XP I always use the shutdown button ... from Linux login as su and run poweroff!!!
It does give a message when I run fsck that I may have not shutdown properly but that never happens?? I am guessing there is something on WIn XP thats causing the problem?? |
