Unhappy Kernel panic - not syncing : Attempted to kill init!


Hi,
After resizeing the lvm,i am gettign the following error.But after rebooting the machine i get this error msg. can anyone please help me out i have very criticle data on it.

I get the following error at booting time.

Uncompressig linux...ok, booting the kernel.
Red Hat all physical volumes.This may take a while...
Couldn't find device with uuid 'M2L000-YQZU-XXX-XXX-XXX'
Couldn't find Physical volumes for volume group VolGroup00.
Couldn't find the device with UUID'xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-'
Volume Group "Volgroup00" not found
ERROR: /bin/lvm exited abnormally! (277)
Couldn't find device with uuid 'xxx-xxx-xxx-xx-xx-xxxx'
Couldn't find all physical volumes for volume group VolGroup00
Unable to find the volume group "VolGroup00"
ERROR: /bin/lvm exited abnormally! (278)
mount: error 6 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mountign none
switchroot: mount failed:22
umount /initrd/dev/failed: 2
kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

Could you post up your grub or lilo conf file please - don't need all of it, just the bits which deal with booting the hard drives.
