i made sure to search the forums before i posted this, and none of the problems seem to be like mine, and the suggestions didnt seem to help either. hopefully someone could help me out.

im trying to install mandrake on my computer, and i only got to catch these two seemingly more significant errors before install even starts...

1. Unable to handle Kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000024

2. Kernel Panic : Aiee, killing interrupt handler! In interrupt handler - not syncing.

i konw many people have had problem #2 while booting, but not many durring installation, and none of the solutions seem to have helped.

i have a 3.06 hyperthreading processor, with a 60 gig hd, cd drive, no floppy drive, usb 2.0, firewire, and an ATI 9000. *dont laugh,if you think thats pathetic*

Please help me out, it would be muchly appreciated.

Hmm. I think most probebly it has something to with one of the hardware in your box. Post a more detailed list of the hardware.
The fist thing I would try is using another distro. But I'm not sure if that will work. Try debian or slackware. Just to see if you can get past stage were to got the panic in mandrake.
