kernel panic...
 

I have installed Gentoo Linux about 6 times now and when i reboot it says
freeing unused kernel memory
kernel panic attempting to kill init
I had redhat before and it worked fine. I looked up some things and i don't think it is ipv6 or whatever I have kernel 2.4.0-gentoo-r5. My brother has basically the same computer. Gentoo with same motherboard i686 and same processor he has a different wireless card than me i have a lynksys and he has a netgear. different cdroms and a few other minor stuff. What is causing this i am tired of reinstalling gentoo that takes about two days!!!!

i figured it out!
i did something stupid and upxed my intrd file!!
Works fine now
