kernel 2.6.7 + iptables 1.2.x ... compile errors
hi there.
when trying to compile iptables with kernel 2.6.7, i keep getting these errors:
--
/usr/include/linux/autoconf.h:1:2: #error Invalid kernel header included in userspace
In file included from /hda1/src/linux-2.6.7/include/linux/config.h:4,
from /hda1/src/linux-2.6.7/include/linux/netfilter_ipv4.h:8,
from /hda1/src/linux-2.6.7/include/linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_tables.h:25,
from include/libiptc/libiptc.h:6,
from include/iptables.h:5,
from extensions/libipt_ULOG.c:18:
--
they are appearing over and over, until, finally, cc brakes with error 1
i tried this with iptables-1.2.9 to 1.2.11. nothing works, allthough it works without any error when using kernel 2.6.6....
i also tried to apply the current netfilter patch-o-matic-ng (21st june)...obviously with no success, allthough the patches were applied with neither rejects nor hunks.
does anybody know how this can be fixed? or is this a known bug in 2.6.7?
i read through the 2.6.7 changes, looking for some software updates needed, but i havent found anything regarding this.
thanks in advance,
meks.
