kdm,gdm

I was trying to chance the kdm theme when I change it to gdm and I instold one from kde-look.org and the next time I try to boot up is just give me this two errors:
1) The theme for the graphical greeter is corrupt
the theme doest not contains definition for the username/paswword entry
element.
2) There was an error loading the theme and the default theme also could not
have been loaded, I will attempt to start the standard greeter.

After this it appears the Gnome Desktop Manager but I can't type anything and It won't let me log in or even shut it down. How can I fix this and change the theme??? thanx for any help.

Use the three finger command:
<Ctrl><Alt><F3>
to get a command prompt. Login as root. Then copy the file /etc/X11/gdm/Init/Default to /etc/X11/gdm/Init/:0
Then copy the file /etc/X11/gdm/Init/Default to /etc/X11/gdm/Init/:1
reboot using the command:
shutdown -r now
and you should be back to your default gdm configuration.
