Unhappy kde rpoblem

Hello,

I added Arabic support to my linux not so long ago. I can write in Arabic charachters with no problem.
In the mean while, I face some strange problems...

the 1st is that I can't save any file or directory with an Arabic name.
It gives an error saying "Cannot write to *directory name*".

the 2nd is that every file I write in Arabic, when I re-open it after saving and closing it,
I find that it contains "?????????" instead of the Arabic charachters.
I tried also to open such file from Windows and it gave me the same result "?????????????"

the 3rd problem looks like the 2nd one, when I use konqueror to browse directories,
the Arabic directories appear as "????????".
Note that it is ok to browse into these directories.
It gives no errors.

any clue how can I overcome this?
