kde mediamanger not running
Hi,
I recently installed Fedora 8. I updated to the latest patches 'yum update' and rebooted.
Following that I installed skype (which updated Qt 4) and rebooted again.
Once I had logged back in I could no longer view mounted remote drives by simply clicking on their desktop icons (they are still mounted, i can use konsole or konqueror to navigate them), as well as not being able to mount my external USB drive. KDE complains "mediamanager is not running."
How can I fix this? Where can I find out what mediamanager needs to run?
My guess is that the Qt 4 update is some how involved and now some KDE mediamanager dependency is messed up. I really would like to be able to use skype and have mediamanager working correctly.
Cheers,
Hewson
