kde icons in gnome

i have created a launcher for kate on my gnome desktop, but have not been able to get a kate icon for it. when I searched from the icons give, they all were for gnome or redhat8.0 in general...

how can I have kde icons for the launchers I create in gnome

Should just be a matter of knowing where the KDE icons are stored, and then using those Icons.

I never use KDE, so I don't know what directory that the icons are stored in.
