KDE docking apps to systray

I'm using KDE 3. How can I dock the taskbar-squares of some programs to the systray (the area near the clock). There are a lot of programs that should be placed there.. gkrellm, xmms, licq.. all things that aren't so heavily used to desire using more space in the taskbar. Where is that option of the window manager to dock such windows to the systray?

with gkrellm you can go to it options and
set sticky state(i think this makes it reload gkrellm at next boot/log in) and set the option "do not include on a taskbar", this makes the taskbar
box for gkrellm disappear so it takes up less space

i don't know about xmms
but there is an rpm for kxmms or kmms or something like that, that allows the xmms controls to part of the taskbar
kopete runs in the systray, dont know about licq

I mean a function that will apply on every window or program.. doesn't matter which one. Not the program option, but window manager option.
