KDE 4 on Fedora 9

I just ran the DVD update from Fedora 8 to 9 and it made a mess of KDE.
I tried setting the "global KDE visual theme" to KDE_Classic but it only partially worked. Open windows now look "Classic", but the task bar, general desktop appearance, & icons all stayed the same.
KDE used to use 'kicker' for it's task bar but apparently uses something else now. Can KDE 4 be reconfigured to use kicker - thus restoring the task bar to it's previous appearance & settings?
...Or would it be simpler (possible?) to roll KDE back to version 3.5 than to hunt down ways to fix each of these things individually?

KDE4 is still in rolling development. More and more functionality is being added with each new update/release. There's not a whole lot you can do in regard to customization yet. If you want full customization control use 3.5 for now, which means going back to Fedora 8. I don't know if you will be able to just roll back though.

IS there a way to roll back from FC9 to 8?
