KDE 3.2 Loading Cursor

By default in KDE 3.2 when a program loads you get a little bouncing icon next to your pointer. I know you can turn this off, or make it flash or stay still. I would like to change it so that when this should happen my pointer changes to a different cursor. eg Changes from the arrow to an hourglass. Is there any way to do this?

Looking in the Control Centre.. although the Periferals > Mouse > Cursor Theme has pictures of hourglasses, I can't see how to make Appearance > Launch Feedback make use of them. Sorry.
